
The Japanese Olympic Committee (JOC) hosted a parade in Ginza, Tokyo on the August 20th, 2012 to honor the Japanese Olympic team for winning 38 medals at the London 2012 Olympics, the most medals ever won.

The Japanese Olympic team won a total of 38 medals consisting of 7 golds, 14 silvers, and 17 bronzes at the London 2012 Olympics. All 76 medalists are introduced here.

The Olympic Day Festa is an event held in conjunction with the JOC "Ganbare! Nippon!" Project to support the recovery of the Great Eastern Japan Earthquake.

JOC has been engaged in various activities for the reconstruction support of the Great East Japan Earthquake. Please let us introduce some of them.

In commemoration of Olympic Day on June 23 and with the aim of enhancing the Olympic Movement, the Japanese Olympic Committee has staged the Olympic Day Run in which members of the general public can enjoy jogging with Olympians - every year since 1987.

The Japanese Olympic Committee has staged the Olympic Concert as a cultural event since 1997. Based around the theme of "The Wonder of Sports Recreated through Images and Music," this event is like a classical concert blended together with Olympic images and interviews with Olympians projected onto multiple screens.
