JOC Protects Integrity in Sports

An estimated 300 Japanese sports industry officials participated in two JOC seminars last week;

• The Sports Organisation Management Seminar was conducted for JOC directors and employees and national sport federation representatives to reaffirm the absolute importance of governance, social responsibility and due process in sport.
• The JOC Coach Conference was held with over 170 coaches from national sport federations to reaffirm their adherence to the Olympic Movement and integrity in sport.

Additionally, the Japanese Olympic Committee declared it shall start a nationwide campaign against inappropriate behaviours on sports activities respecting the fundamental principles of Olympic Charter and Olympic values. The campaign targets people at all levels who are engaged in sport in Japan.
